Visas for India, Nepal, Bhutan, the Maldives & Sri Lanka
Planning a multi-country trip? Here's the visa situation for each destination, in plain language. Always check current rules for your nationality before you fly.
India
Most travellers use the online e-Tourist Visa, applied for before you fly (30-day, 1-year and 5-year options). You'll need a passport valid 6+ months and a digital photo. We send every guest a step-by-step guide.
Nepal
A visa on arrival is available to most nationalities at Kathmandu airport (and land borders) — bring a photo and the fee in USD, or apply online in advance.
Bhutan
Bhutan is visited through a licensed operator; the visa and permits are arranged for you alongside the Sustainable Development Fee. We take care of the paperwork end to end.
Maldives
A free 30-day visa on arrival is granted to all nationalities with a valid passport, onward ticket and confirmed accommodation.
Sri Lanka
Most travellers need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), applied for online before travel — quick and straightforward.
